About the Winery:
The La Kiuva cooperative was founded in 1975 in the Valle d’Aosta, the smallest Italian region, nestled in the Alps to the northwest of the Italian peninsula, bordering France and Switzerland. A group of 60 growers over 15 hectares of vines are located between 380 to 500 m above sea level.
Sandy soil in an alkaline terroir, coupled with an Alpine climate (wide temperature variations between day and night) increases the acidity and freshness of the grapes. Only 6000 cases are produced each year.
