Tasting Nose: The nose is fruity, and fresh which offers a small intensity. It reveals notes of crushed plum, green apple, small notes of lemon flowers associated with touches of verbena/tilleul and small crunchy fruits. The palate is fruity and well-balanced that offers a juicy/ acidulous frame of fine suavity, tension as well as dynamism, fat, roundness and fine unctuosity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of crunchy yellow plum, small yellow berries, and small notes of honeysuckle associated with fine touches of lemon flowers, lemongrass and bee wax (in the background). Good length.
Serving Temperature: 11 to 12°C.
Food Pairing: To serve it with the Burgundian specialty of cold parsleyed ham (jambon persillé), country pâtés, snails, grilled fish, goat cheeses, Comté, Beaufort, or members of the Gruyère family.
About the Winery:
The family estate has been passed down from woman to woman for six generations. The winery is located in Corgoloin, within the Côte de Nuits Villages appellation. The 16-hectare estate includes plots in Nuits Saint Georges and Vosne Romanée.
